Job Title: Teacher – Animal Care
Salary: Commencing at £29,638 with progression to £33,349 per annum
About the Role

What You Will Do

  • Prepare for and deliver classes to student groups, with clear intentions and well-defined outcomes.
  • Deliver theory and practical classes in our classrooms, animal care centre and Rare Breeds Survival Trust (RBST) farm. 
  • Manage student progress and achievement 
  • Evaluate students’ work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Participate in personal development, working to develop your own professional knowledge and skill set.

About You

Successful candidates will:

  • Have a relevant industry experience 
  • Be a creative, enthusiastic, dynamic and forward thinking practitioner.
  • Work well as part of a team and be resilient, adaptable and enthusiastic with experience of the industry
  • Be student focused, building a supportive and creative environment for students to develop their practical skills.
  • Have excellent communication skills and be happy working with people as well as being able to work independently when required.
