Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide care and assistance to individuals in need. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to provide quality care.

Duties:
– Provide support and assistance to individuals in their daily activities
– Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
– Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
– Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
– Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
– Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
– Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behaviour
– Assist with transportation to appointments or outings as needed

Experience:
– Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
– Knowledge of patient care techniques and practices
– Familiarity with medication administration procedures
– Experience in home care, senior care, assisted living, or childcare is a plus
– First aid certification is desirable

What we do!

We are a well-established, nationwide healthcare provider. Our homes are Specialist Mental Health Services and established, offering adults person-centred care. We carefully develop and adapt homes to meet the varying needs of adults with mental health needs. The services are carefully located within thriving communities, offering a variety of educational, recreational and social activities.

We provide a positive impact on the service experience of people with mental health difficulties who may be experiencing emotional distress. This primarily involves support using a person-centred approach. Our Support Workers measure outcomes specifically to an individual’s needs and evidence using our person-centred outcome-measuring tool.

Successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure prior to commencement of employment, the disclosure expense will be met by the employer.
