Overview

Senior Art Director
Wood Lane, London, W12

Company Description

Who we are
Langland, a Publicis Health company, is the only health communications agency that thinks further across Clinical Trial Experience, Medical Strategy & Education, Public Relations & Policy, and Advertising, to create unique value with visionary clients.

What we believe
Health brings us together. In the diseases we suffer, the medicines we create, and the causes we champion, health shows us our collective humanity. When we break the barriers that divide us, when we think further, we can create healthier futures, together.

A passion for craft
Having expert thinking is only part of our story. To ensure excellence in everything we make, we have centred our disciplines around three essential crafts: science, strategy and creativity.

Job Description

As a Senior Art Director at Langland, you will be seen as a key player in driving both the business success and the cultural ethos of our agency. You will take concepts from start to completion, executing and delegating as needed. You will work closely with client services, planners, medical copywriters and clients to develop relevant, meaningful work, consistently of a very high standard.

We are looking for a conceptually minded individual, capable of creating intuitive, strategic concepts and solutions to a variety of briefs. Someone who sees every brief as an opportunity to raise the bar and produce simple, surprising, and empathetic work.

You should be a great communicator, engaging clients and colleagues alike with presentation skills often as powerful and persuasive as your creative. Team-mates, especially designers and art directors, will look to you for guidance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Confidently lead creative discussions with clients, colleagues and partners; constructively resolve challenges
  • Maintain a profile as a source of inspiration for creativity in healthcare
  • Ensure strategy is clearly and cohesively applied; identify where objectives are not being met or delivery is threatened and provide potential solutions
  • Take a role in development of creative content for proposals and pitches; proactively identify organic growth opportunities for client and agency business
