Job Purpose and Summary

The Program & Projects (SoW) coordinator supports a wide range of projects and programs in both our Solution & Adoption and Program & Projects division.

For IT project delivery, suppliers like TCS and CapGemini are engaged with Canon’s business using supplier contracts. In this role you will provide support in various ways, such as ensuring all required elements for a good supplier contract are in place, thus establishing a qualitative Statement of Work (SoW). You will focus on improving several area’s such as timeliness, estimation, adherence to contract process governance and ‘first time right’. 

What we give

As a PMO (SoW) Coordinator, you will:

  • Support the Programs & Project and Solution & Adoption division staff in the creation of SoWs by actively writing / adjusting the content of an Sow based on ‘intake sessions’ with the stakeholders.
  • Support the Programs & Project and Solution & Adoption division staff in the creation of SoWs by actively correcting/optimizing the draft provided by the vendor.
  • Ensuring the SoW’s that go to the Contract Management and Procurement teams for review are of increasing quality, incorporating earlier feedback in new SoWs.
  • Lighten the workload for the creation of SoWs for the various ACOs in the Program & Projects and Solution & Adoption teams.
  • Ensure a smooth, effective and quick approval process.
  • For larger SOWs, support the ACOs in the alignment required of the wider Canon IT ecosystem

What we ask

As a PMO (SoW) Coordinator, you will need:

  • A Bachelor or Master Degree
  • Related business experience and knowledge
  • Understanding of IT projects & deliveries – ability to relate to SOW content
  • Experience with writing of SoW
  • Fluent in written and verbal English
  • Prince2 / Agile qualification is a nice-to-have
  • Highly organized & self-motivated with an excellent eye for detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and within pre-determined guidelines such as key reference documents, templates and processes
  • Ability to quickly understand the legal framework, as it has been set for the respective vendors
  • Sufficient legal understanding to create sharp legal wording
