Remote role with travel to attend meetings 2-3 times a month

The Power BI Analyst is a new role within our expanding IT team. The role of the Power BI Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining dashboards, reports and data models that provide insights and solutions for various business needs. The focus of this role will be working with stakeholders to understand and develop metrics that deliver insight to the business – in doing so, you will develop reports, KPI scorecards and dashboards using Power BI.

As Power BI Analyst you’ll be:

  • Championing data and reports, leading the business in growing developing how data is used.
  • Create Power BI reports as per requests using data from various sources, e.g. direct API’s, Azure SQL data warehouse.
  • Interpreting client report requirements
  • Offering keen insights in business performance, offering project support, and actively contributing to business and MI initiatives
  • Creating visually creative and innovative dashboards
  • Managing of security controls
  • Collaborating with both the Business and Client Solutions teams to ensure robust reporting solutions are delivered for internal and external stakeholders
  • Leading in educating users on use of PowerBI tooling throughout the business

 As Power BI Analyst you’ll have:

  • Strong experience developing end-to-end dashboards in Power BI
  • Experience with DAX, Excel, SSRS, SSIS and Power Query
  • Proven track record of enhancing performance through meticulous data analysis.
  • Any experience with Azure would be beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Understand and be able to articulate data flow and lifecycle of data for clients
  • Ability to work to deadlines and juggle multiple tasks and projects, as well as multiple stakeholders
