Role Purpose

If so, we want you to lead our team as the Head of Projects and Transformation for Levy at The O2 Arena.
As Head of Projects and Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in driving organizational change and delivering key projects to meet strategic objectives. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage project lifecycles, and implement transformational initiatives to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation within the organization. Your responsibilities will encompass project planning, execution, monitoring, and stakeholder management to ensure successful project outcomes and sustainable transformation.

  1. Role Purpose
As head of projects and transformation, you will play a pivotal role in driving organizational change and delivering key projects to meet strategic objectives. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage project lifecycles, and implement transformational initiatives to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation within the organization. Your responsibilities will encompass project planning execution, monitoring, and stakeholder management to ensure successful project outcomes and sustainable transformation.
  1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, assign tasks, and facilitate effective communication to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary to mitigate disruptions.
Transformational Initiatives:
  • Drive organizational change by spearheading transformational initiatives aligned with strategic goals and business priorities.
  • Assess current processes, systems, and practices to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to foster employee engagement, adoption, and readiness for transformation.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, department heads, project sponsors, and team members.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and key decisions effectively to ensure alignment and manage expectations.
  • Address stakeholder concerns, resolve conflicts, and solicit feedback to enhance project outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
Resource Management:
  • Allocate resources efficiently, including personnel, budget, and technology, to support project objectives and deliverables.
  • Identify resource gaps or constraints and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address them proactively.
  • Optimize resource utilization and productivity through effective planning, prioritization, and coordination.
Performance Measurement and Reporting:
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project success and transformational impact.
  • Establish regular reporting mechanisms to track progress, analyze trends, and evaluate project outcomes against predefined targets.
  • Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management based on performance insights and lessons learned.
People:
  • Work closely with the management team to develop and sustain a high level of team energy and engagement, focused on great food and hospitality. 
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and talent management / succession planning activity. 
  • Ensure effective team communication flows throughout the venue.
  • Ensure that any required training and development is delivered in line with any transformation projects if required.
