The Head of Business Solutions is a new role within our expanding IT leadership team. The role of Head of Business Solutions will provide direction and management to the Business Solutions team to ensure a coordinated strategy for IT and Technology as a whole. The role will include planning, organising and taking responsibility for the team’s performance and delivery, as well as collaborating with primarily internal but also external stakeholders to ensure the business’ internal applications develop in line with the company and its demands and aspirations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic thinking individual with experience of developing functionality in multiple line of business applications simultaneously, supporting the business with efficient ways of working and providing real value from the Business Solutions team.
As Head of Business Solutions you’ll be:
- An expert user of internal business systems by understanding all of their functionalities and possibilities.
- Owning the overall solution discovery collection and analysis of business requirements, verification, design, and develop IT technological and methodology standards in our business systems (technology platform selection, best practices in software development, business improvement, project management, budget management etc).
- Looking for potential business improvements, evaluating existing best IT-related practices (inside/outside), and support business and IT strategies.
- Responsible for decision-making regarding external IT service provider(s) selection in accordance with policies, procedures and business requirements.
- Establishing effective working relationships with Internal and External IT Service Providers.
- Planning and execute the IT business application budgets, optimize, control, and reduces costs to improve efficiency in line with business and IT strategies.
- Keeping abreast of all software development trends and opportunities within the FM sector
As Head of Business Solutions you’ll have:
- In-depth knowledge of the IT systems and business applications
- Experience of managing a team
- Experience of the software implementation process
- Able to plan and prioritise workload to ensure objectives are achieved on time.
- Good business knowledge of ERP systems, business models, and related processes in finance, commercial and operational environments
- Strong ICT Skills
- Dynamic problem solving
