For over 20 years, the Company has delivered fresh food solutions to pupils and staff at Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Colleges across the UK. The company caters more than 1,000,000 meals a week. We are looking for an experienced Cook Manager who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. We serve thousands of meals every day across the UK and want this exceptional service to our schools and colleges to continue.

A maternity cover vacancy is pending for a dynamic, energetic and experienced Primary School Chef Manager at Petteril Bank school Carlisle. Catering alongside the catering assistant for pupils and the Nursery for approx. 100 meals per day.

Main duties will include:

  • Using fresh ingredients to make good, quality food
  • Implement the Company Health & Safety and Food Safety Policies and Adhere to COSHH regulations at all times
  • Extensive food knowledge with the ability to cook and present fresh food to a consistently high standard safely whilst managing allergens.
  • Complete all company bookwork in a timely manner
  • Manage the food ordering and budget, in line with menus and recipes.
  • Complete online training in line with company policy
