Job Description

The Department

Spark Foundry’s planning department is the heart of the agency – in terms of its function, its people and its location. We are diverse in our experience, personalities, nationalities and the clients we look after – and we celebrate that diversity. The Clients

This role is working on a top 10 Spark account, the client is a key competitor to Amazon in the commercial technology space with an average £60 million annual expenditure. Some of the brands within this account include Apple, Google and Microsoft, it is a fundamental pillar of the Spark Foundry business and a high priority client. The client is our biggest digital spender, they focus on using data to innovate and drive new exciting strategies in their media planning. With this in mind, we want ambitious people on the team who want to progress in their careers. This role has been designed with your development in mind and our aim is to grow the successful individual to be ready for the next phase of their media career

Key Responsibilities

  • Building a strong relationship with our client, working closely to drive new strategies and deliver their media campaigns across all channels.
  • Working closely with the dedicated strategist to build your knowledge of strategy and partnerships to deliver innovative solutions for the client.
  • Liaising with senior leadership to update on progress for one of our biggest accounts.
  • Management of an Account Executive.
  • Working closely with your ten-person team to share ideas, best practice and resources, always aiming for excellence in client service and delivery.
  • Working with the client to push their agenda on sustainability.
  • Building reports based on campaign performance and drawing insights to share with the team and client.
  • Challenge our clients to think differently and make their brands category leaders.
  • There is a chance to get involved in new business research and pitches if of interest to.


  • Experience working with and servicing clients, this could be within media, sales, marketing, creative or similar.
  • An understanding of advertising, media and reaching new audiences.
  • Someone who wants to apply strategic thinking in their role and bring ideas to life.
  • We have a brilliant relationship with our creative agency so you will be working closely with them on a daily basis to deliver exceptional work for our client.
  • Someone who wants to work within an amazing, friendly team who support one another whenever needed.
  • The ability to build good relationships with our internal team in order to ensure we meet deadlines and keep our client happy.
