Job Title: Water Supply Manager
Location: Grantham- Surrounding areas
Circa £56,000 depending on skills and experience + car allowance

37 hours per week, full time

Reporting to the Regional Supply Manager, you’ll be directly responsible for production of safe, clean drinking water in and around the Grantham area. You’ll need to demonstrate strong leadership behaviours that enable you to develop and manage the performance of a multi-disciplined team of works technicians. Your team will operate all treatment assets and undertake process and asset maintenance tasks across our water supply sites, including water treatment works, water storage points, pumping stations and abstraction systems.
You’ll be responsible for delivering many business plan targets, and aligning your team to other programmes and initiatives across the business.
Working closely with your team, you’ll ensure that all activities are efficiently delivered, undertaken with a risk focus and are carried out in accordance with our health and safety policy and comply with health and safety legislation, water quality regulations and QA procedures.
Responsible for sites that form an integral part of our community, you’ll improve customer experience through service focused initiatives and customer engagement.
What does it take to be a Supply Manager?

Strong process management experience preferably from a water treatment background or comparable process driven environments.

Proven operational management skills and behaviours that can be used to help steer the team in this most dynamic of operational environments

Health and safety awareness and hold a qualification equivalent to IOSH level

Ability to deal with a range of stakeholders including external groups

Demonstrable experience in incident management/control

Able to adapt to changes in business strategy

Proven financial management skills and ability to control a budget and operate sites in the most efficient way possible

Demonstrable experience of integrating large capital schemes into operational sites
