Hours:

The role of Tag Management Specialist will be a Fixed Term Contract for 9 months and working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We can offer hybrid working between home and our Head Office in Skipton, North Yorkshire with the expectation that you would be onsite for a minimum of 1 day per week.

The role of Tag management Specialist sits within our Marketing Technology function within the wider Marketing Team. The team you will be joining is well established and working on key initiatives due to the focus Skipton Building Society is placing on putting Customers at the heart of everything we do. The team includes

A Marketing Technology Change Lead

This team is a delivery function for martech capability, working with teams to enable activations of key activity across multiple channels.

The role of Tag Manager Specialist will be for a Fixed Term Contract of 9 months and we’re happy for someone to work from our newly refurbished head office or hybrid with one day per week at head office to allow for collaboration. The hours of work are 35 per week, Monday to Friday with a salary of £36,000 per annum.

What Will You Be Doing?

You will be taking ownership on tag management implementation and your organisational skills will allow you to ensure these are implemented within specified timescales, negotiating, and influencing where necessary.

You’ll work with external partners and agencies to see how we can improve specific processes within the team and within our tag management tools.

Completing a variety of tag management related tasks you’ll identify opportunities to optimise Digital performance– working across the Society to positively influence customer behaviour and the Society’s performance.

You’ll provide key information to a range of stakeholders across the organisation, including tagging documents and how data flows across digital assets.  

What Do We Need From You?

Key to being successful in the role of Tag Management Specialist is being a developer with an analytical mindset, attention to detail and strong numerical ability, including interpreting data.

In terms of the specific knowledge we are looking for, you will have

  • Demonstrable relevant Tag management experience as we need someone to ‘hit the ground running’ and work semi autonomously (1 year minimum)

  • Experience of communicating and building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience of working as part of a wider team and able to engage with all levels of a business

  • Knowledge of reporting tools e.g. PowerBI, Data Studio, Tableau

  • Understanding of digital data ideally within financial services or other regulated industries

  • Understanding of Adobe Launch or GTM preferably
