Salary Range: £11.68 – £12.01 per hour

Seeking support workers in Witney

Are you looking for weekend work? Do enjoy caring for people in the community?  Do you hold manual UK driving licence?

This role offers 2, 15-hour shifts, 7am until 10pm. You may choose to work only Saturday or Sunday or both days of the weekend.

The support  worker provides person centred care around each person’s values, preferences and needs which could include developing daily living skills, accessing a wider community, personal care and medication needs.

This role will best suit someone with UK manual driving with experience as a support worker, carer, Health care assistant, Play worker, Learning Support Assistant, Teaching assistant or someone looking to start a career in care.

You will:  

  • Hold a UK manual driving licence (essential)

  • Have good communication skills 

  • Have a positive and patient approach

Your responsibilities:  

  • To empower the people we support to live the lives they want to lead 

  • To develop daily living skills. 

  • Support the people we support to access their communities for socialisation, employment, training or friendships 

  • To contribute to, develop and implement the individuals care plans. 

  • To communicate effectively and professionally with people we support, their family members, and external professionals. 

  • Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support

This role could suit: Care workers, Health and social care professionals, Support Workers, Teaching assistants, Health care Assistants, Carers, and Volunteers. Learning support assistants, Playworkers.
