As we continue to scale globally, we are looking for an amazing Senior Manager to lead our HR Advisory consultancy team. You will have a responsibility to lead and manage the consultancy team in delivering high-quality services to clients while ensuring that the team meets its targets and objectives.

 

The International HR Consultancy team will be required to provide consultancy services to HRC’s clients in the areas of international HR consultancy, immigration, and global mobility. Such consultancy support will primarily be delivered via email, online, and by telephone, although there may be occasional requirements to travel to client sites.

 

The position will be primarily remote. Whilst both team meetings and client engagements are mostly through emails, telephones, and video conferencing, face-to-face meetings are encouraged to maintain business relationships. 

We're looking for someone who is open to engaging with the team (team members and reports) in person at least monthly. although the role will require at least monthly in-person meetings with team members and reports, who are also home-workers.  The team is located all across the UK, from Scotland to the South East so this can vary.  

 

This role is ideal for a proven manager ready to take the next step in leading a high-performance, high-revenue delivery team.

 

A key quality is building client confidence and, from there increasing client value. The role requires expertise and the ability to work on tight deadlines. As the role is international in nature, the individual should be open to working with people from all around the world and learning about different regions.

An overview of the role 
 

Working in conjunction with the Director of Consulting, this role will be involved in Revenue Budget Delivery: Developing and implementing strategies to achieve revenue targets. Monitor and report on progress regularly to ensure the team is on track to meet or exceed the budget.

 

Leading the Senior Consultancy team, you will be required to support the team with advisory on various scenarios, providing experience to situations.

 

Working in conjunction with the Director of Consulting, this role will be involved in EBITDA Maximization: This involves overseeing team financials to maximize earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA). This includes optimizing costs, improving operational efficiency, and identifying new revenue streams.

 

Team Transparency: Promote a culture of transparency within the team. Ensure all team members have access to the information they need to perform their roles effectively and feel comfortable sharing ideas and feedback.

 

Trust Building: Foster an environment of trust and collaboration. Encourage open communication, recognize team members’ contributions, and address any issues or conflicts in a timely and respectful manner.

 

Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and mentor a team of consultants. Provide guidance and support to help them achieve their individual goals and contribute to the team’s success.

 

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Understand their needs and ensure our services meet or exceed their expectations.

 

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Represent the company at industry events and networking functions.

The Ideal person will have the following
 

  • At least 5 years of experience in a management or leadership role. 

  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality services to clients. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Experience of working with others on a daily basis and the ability to use Microsoft Office programs are essential, excel knowledge is highly desirable. 

  • Key understanding of how team management and leadership work together to drive a high-performing team.  

  • Understating company finances, P+L, and over-key financial metrics is desirable. 

  • Any international working experience is desirable – this could be working in another country or even working with a business that is based outside of the United Kingdom. 

  • The ability to speak/write in more than one language is desirable but not a requirement 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law, Management, or a related field is desirable but not essential. 

  • CIPD qualification desirable but not essential. 

  • Foreign language skills are desirable but not essential. 

  • HR or People related degree is desirable but not essential.
