Job Description

The Senior Manager (Ad Tech), Precision EMEA will be responsible for supporting Publicis Media Agency activation teams across the EMEA region on their biddable ad tech vendor operations and strategy development. The Senior Manager analyses ad tech vendor & tools utilization, evaluates ad tech vendor solutions against Publicis Media standards, scales ad tech platform management best practices and guidance materials, captures developing biddable activation team requirements and builds strong relationships with ad tech vendors.

This role works within the central Precision EMEA team, a practice within Publicis Media. The role supports the Publicis Media agencies and other Publicis Media practices to keep well-informed of ad tech vendor-related best practices, new and innovative trends, and vendor & tool opportunities to solve each client’s most pressing paid media challenges, working in concert with Agency, Product Management, Operations, and other teams.

The Senior Manager is an energetic individual who possesses a combination of strong analytical, problem-solving and client facing skills, and hands-on paid media activation technical knowledge, working as an integral part of the Publicis Media Precision practice. The role requires a growth mindset, the ability to build trusted internal and external business relationships, research developing technology to provide thought leadership, develop operational processes, and manage multiple projects at once without sacrificing attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Ad Tech vendor utilization and strategy

  • Leading development of audit/evaluation templates to gather business intelligence & insights on ad tech vendor usage on regional and global accounts. Delivery of account analysis and insights
  • Working with internal teams to scale agency tools/ad tech vendor automation initiatives

Ad Tech vendor solution evaluation

  • Leading ad tech vendor evaluation pipeline development and prioritization
  • Conducting ad tech vendor evaluation processes

Ad Tech vendor operations best practice and governance

  • Scaling global ad tech platform management best practice/guidance materials across local market teams and supporting related requests
  • Delivering monthly ad tech vendor-related comms and updates; running workshop sessions with local market teams to gather business intelligence/insights on ad tech vendor-related requirements
  • Leading ad tech vendor-specific operational updates workstreams across local market teams
  • Delivering regional ad tech vendor-related POVs and case study development support

Ad Tech vendor strategy development

  • Communicating ad tech vendor opportunities and supporting local market teams to develop test opportunities
  • Evaluating and reporting ad tech vendor usage trends across region

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years prior experience planning and buying within a minimum of one biddable media channel (Programmatic, Paid Search, Paid Social), seeking a more strategic role
  • Strong knowledge in operational aspects of managing biddable platform instances, including instance creation, set up and governance
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the ad tech landscape and emerging trends
  • Able to create clear points of view on technical subjects and activation best practices
  • Able to grow relationships through new strategies and innovative ideas
  • Flexible and hard working – used to working to deadlines under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Possesses a charismatic, engaging personality and can successfully interact with senior-level contacts
  • Strong presenter with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
