We are looking for a talented and experienced  Sales Executive to join our central sales team supporting the London RA venues The Corporate Sales Executive will conduct proactive and reactive sales activity, you will be responsible for ensuring every customer receives a high standard and seamless service from the initial enquiry through to confirmation and beyond. The role requires an entrepreneurial personality with the drive to succeed and the ability to maximize the meetings and events revenue with a knowledge of the London market. A self-motivated individual, a great converter who has is highly motivated pro-active self-starter, with commitment and drive for building strong customer relationships. The success of this role is measured by the achievement of set KPIs and revenue targets, essential knowledge is required of working in a unique venue.

  • Conducting sales activities including responding to telephone and e-mail enquiries
  • Following up on all enquires within a specific time scale with an aim to convert to confirmed bookings
  • To secure venue showrounds for the BDM’s and Event Planners
  • To achieve agreed sales targets by driving conversion
  • Issuing contracts to customers once bookings are converted
  • Ensuring all details and requirements of confirmed bookings are handed over accurately to the Event Planner
  • Cross-selling – multi location proposals in and around London venues
  • Proactive calls focusing on past bookers, lost and turned down enquiries and lapsed accounts
  • To always be aware of sales activity/initiatives of our competitors and use this market intelligence, acting upon it to ensure RA Venues obtains its market share in this sector
  • To maintain accurate, up-to-date reports and information
  • To maintain the Delphi Advanced booking system compliance benchmark
  • To maintain the Mystery Shop benchmark
  • To maintain relationships with regional agent accounts through telephone and direct mail activity
  • Support innovative campaigns for the Sales and Marketing plan
  • To achieve and exceed agreed national sales campaign targets

  • Always responding positively and efficiently to customers, ensuring repeat business is optimised
  • To perform ad hoc tasks as directed
  • Must be fully aware of the C&E Sales Process/ Yield Management
  • Must be able to work on own initiative and be a confident decision maker
  • Will have a generally outgoing personality and enjoy social interaction
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with potential customers, with employees from all parts of the company and able to present a highly professional image when representing the Company
  • Must be self-motivated and can maintain focus in the achievement of sales targets

  • Must be able to organise him/herself and others effectively
  • Must be competent in Microsoft Office and have a good understanding of database management
  • Must have excellent communication skills, verbally both on the phone and in person, and written
  • Will be an effective team worker as a key member of the central sales team
