37 Hours Per Week and Full Time

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE4 7SA

The Quality Department is seeking to appoint an innovative, solution focused and dedicated professional to support continuous improvement within our FE provision. The Quality Improvement Manager will work closely with curriculum teams and have a pivotal role in the following:

Taking a lead in initiatives and managing operational activities concerning all aspects of quality improvement.

Customer focussed approach providing guidance to curriculum managers, staff and customers, including sub-contract partners.

Ensuring quality processes are fit-for-purpose, that appropriate training is provided and that those processes are followed to drive a high-quality curriculum.

Be solution-focused, proactive and use initiative to recommend appropriate responses to identified under-performance.

Provide regular reports containing complex information in a coherent manner that are effective and accessible to ensure quality information and data is relevant, accurate, and sufficient and presented to aid decision making processes.

Oversee the assessment processes, liaising as appropriate with curriculum teams, internal and external verifiers and other relevant external bodies to coordinate external visits, direct claims status and achievement boards.

The successful candidate will have experience within the FE sector in a Programme or Curriculum Lead capacity, be highly motivated and passionate.
