Overview
The role:
Working within the Professional Services Team, the successful candidate will expertly project manage on a range of small and medium to large client projects implementing our Practice Management suite of modules and associated tools/products to our worldwide client base. This role requires a self-motivated and driven individual with a proven track record to provide world class delivery of our products.
Responsibilities:
-Undertake Project Management for small and large contracts as required
-Plan, deliver and track to budget all tasks assigned, including meetings, conference calls and visits
-Plan, track and report project progress, both internally and externally, including financial budget to actual comparison
-Assist with creation of project Statement of Work including customisations, working closely with senior colleagues
-To plan and implement IRIS Products in accordance with the Statement of Work and/or as otherwise advised provide installation, configuration, best practice advice, training and implementation of IRIS PM modules and functions including data structure and reporting
-Identify Out of Scope opportunities working with Client and colleagues to agree change orders or additional Statement of Work sign off to maximise services income
– Manage day-to-day requirements of projects including assigning tasks for those colleagues working on project
– Liaise with Departmental Administrator to update central schedules and other project documents
– Provide guidance and prepare suitable project documentation where required
– Ensure smooth transition to support for new implementations by providing hands on assistance at client sites during Go Live in conjunction with a IRIS Support colleague.
– Channel post implementation support to appropriate colleagues prioritising when appropriate
-Act as liaison between Client and IRIS development team when designing new functionality
– Provide Pre-Sales consulting with Sales Executives as and when required
-Carry out chargeable work to achieve company targets to include timely submission of accurate weekly time sheets
Qualifications:
-Recognised Project Management Qualification – PMP/Prince 2
-Accounting qualification or relevant experience with an accounting/CPA firm or equivalent post an advantage
-Experience with IIS installations an advantage
-Experience with MS Azure an advantage
