Overview

Support in managing and delivering a “best in class” promotional programme for all Booker Group fascias & Shop Locally brand.  You will be responsible for reporting & providing concise analysis on competitor intelligence, insight into future Group promotions for accurate decision making and delivery of post-performance analysis.

There will be ad-hoc travel required to attend team meetings, site visits and other meetings as required by the business.

Analyse competitor performance & market trends and report to support decision making and promotional improvement

Delivery of pre promotional analysis for all brands to support decision making and promotional improvement

Analyse post-promotion success and customer reaction

To create and complete promotional presentations for Brand teams & internal stakeholders

Support in all areas of added value promotional activity planning across the Booker Group fascias (Vouchers / Scratchcards / Key Seasonal Events)

Support with control / monitoring & accuracy of supplier-lead added value promotions

Work with Promotions Team to support retail agenda / set promotional governance

 

Experience of working in a similar reporting or analytical Retail/ FMCG role would be preferred, ideally within Buying, Sales or Central Operations

Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Ability to plan time effectively around Promotional cycle

Ability to create & deliver presentations to senior stakeholders

Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels and within the existing team

Commercially astute with ability to analyse data & translate to insights

Not afraid to challenge to ensure deadlines & commitments are met

Shift Hours: 37.5 hrs per week ()
