Operational Support Officer, Through Care – 37 hours, perm post
This is a full-time position within the Through Care Service. You will work as part of a team supporting a busy area of work. Your duties will include supporting social workers and team managers on a day to day basis with a variety of tasks. We are a friendly and supportive team and work in a fast-paced environment which is very rewarding, but also means you must be able to prioritise your own workload, multitask a number of conflicting deadlines and cover/support other colleagues.
Duties will include a high volume of finance work, working on a variety of in-house IT systems, dealing with queries both over the telephone and in person, co-ordinating and minuting of complex meetings and panels, producing statistical information and other tasks as appropriate.
Operational Support Officer, Responsive Services – 37 hours, perm post
This is a full-time position within Responsive Services, which includes the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub and Horizon Team. You will work as part of a team supporting the front door to Children’s Services. Your duties will include supporting social workers and team managers on a day to day basis with a variety of tasks. We are a friendly and supportive team and work in a fast-paced environment which is very rewarding, but also means you must be able to prioritise your own workload, multitask a number of conflicting deadlines and cover/support other colleagues.
Duties will include supporting a high volume of work in a very fast paced environment, working on a variety of in-house IT systems, dealing with queries both over the telephone and in person, using case management systems to input accurate information, co-ordinating and minuting of complex meetings and panels, producing statistical information and other tasks as appropriate.
Operational Support Officer – LADO Services, 25 hour perm post
This is a 25 hours part time role within the Quality Assurance Front Office Administrative Team and you will work as part of this team supporting the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO).
Your duties will include setting up and supporting Position of Trust Meetings, recording and filing LADO referrals, updating case files and completing OFSTED and Fostering checks. You will also be required to complete quarterly and annual statistical information for team managers and other tasks as appropriate .
In all of these roles you will be required to support improvement and Ofsted priorities in Children’s Services and continue to work towards making a difference in improving the lives of Children, Families and Young People.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

- Has great attention to detail along with excellent communication skills
