About The Opportunity: We are looking for a hardworking individual to take up the role of National Account Manager looking after one of the Top 4 National Accounts.  Ideally with easy commuting to Leeds and Runcorn. Reporting into the Head of Key Accounts and Nationals.

The primary role of the National Account Manager is to help shape, develop and deliver the critical path to onboard the National chain.

Taking responsibility for achieving agreed targets.

Possessing strong relationship and management skills are a prerequisite along with proven work experience as a National Account Manager either within FMCG, Pharmacy or the Pharmaceutical wholesale markets.

This role is field-based requiring regular travel to meet the National Chain, key internal stakeholders at PHOENIX sites including Runcorn and Birmingham along with field based stakeholders.

Core activities of this role include relationship development, account management and customer negotiations and new business acquisition.

About You: You will be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the pharmacy industry and the key challenges facing pharmacy

You will have experience working for a pharmaceutical wholesaler and strong connections within the industry both with upstream and downstream partners. You will be highly motivated, target focused, organised and be able to strive in a consultative selling role.

You will be competent with Microsoft Office applications. PowerPoint is essential.

Flexibility is required as the role involves both internal and external meetings, which may require overnight stays.

The National Account Manager must hold a current and full UK driving licence.
