Role Purpose

As Marketing Specialist you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing Salutem’s marketing strategy particularly around recruitment and business development. You’ll use your creative flare to convey messages to engage our external audiences using a variety of methods. Ultimately, you’ll ensure Salutem’s tone of voice is heard, and its identity and brand is seen and felt.

Responsibilities

  • Developing marketing initiatives and activities to support our recruitment and business development activities, ensuring these are implemented and measured for ROI.
  • Lead and co-ordinate the marketing strategy and efforts for the rollout of new markets working with the operations team to fill the new locations in line with the business plan.
  • Developing recruitment campaigns using social media and google, creating exciting and varied content that will attract candidates.
  • Lead on social media activity and digital marketing, ensuring the online presence is fit for purpose and in line with the goals of the business including but not limited to SEO, PPC, SEM.
  • Working with the recruitment team, developing and improving the business branding ratings on employee opinion websites (eg Glassdoor/CV library/Indeed) as well as all social media channels
  • Develop marketing and communication activity templates and branding, proactively seeking out marketing trends relevant to the business and take the lead in analysing and interpreting them to Salutem standards
  • Conducting research to identify development and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Responding to marketing queries and requests.
  • Creating compelling content that supports strategic business objectives covering colleague engagement activities, charity and community, reward and recognition, learning and development, sustainability and diversity and inclusiveness.
  • Work collaboratively with the Communication and Engagement Specialist to ensure branding, tone of voice and content has consistency across the group

Skills and experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, great relationship builder with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience of developing and creating recruitment campaigns using social media and google.
  • Ability to write engaging and exiting adverts for our vacancies.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent grammar, spelling and attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft office software and experience of using a creative suite, such as canva or other similar marketing softwares.
  • Ability to respond and contribute to multiple demands with agility and pace.

Desired

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or related field
  • CIM qualified or other Marketing/Communications qualification
  • Marketing experience
  • Social care sector experience
