Are you looking to expand your skills and experience within a growing multi-disciplinary consultancy?

Pick Everard’s thriving Structural Engineering team in Leicester are expanding and looking to recruit a Structural Engineer, who will have the opportunity to work on exciting new ventures and get to undertake site survey work.
There will be a wide, varied workload and the role will focus on the design and management of a diverse range of projects including health, education, commercial, custodial and residential. Take a look at some of our projects here: Discover our projects – Pick Everard
With assistance from Senior Engineers, you will take on responsibility for technical delivery of projects, ensuring they are delivered to the highest quality, on time, and to budget. You will also assist on surveys and support junior staff members.
You will also have opportunities to achieve chartered status, with mentors for both IStructE and ICE and access to regular workshops and seminars tailored to signing off the core objectives as part of the chartership process.

About You
Our ideal Structural Engineer must have:
- A minimum of BSc or BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering (2.2 min.), MSc or MEng preferred
- Good verbal communication – able to discuss work, and communicate effectively to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience relevant to UK practice and knowledge of UK design standards, codes of practice and methods of construction
- Familiarity with structural engineering modelling, analysis, and design software (AutoCAD and Revit)
It would be nice for you to have:
- The ability to work to deadlines and manage time with multiple tasks
- Approaching Incorporated/Chartered membership of ICE or IStructE
- Experience visiting sites
- The motivation to undertake relevant CPD and to increase skills and knowledge
