14.8 Hours Per Week and Part Time
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE4 7RW
Newcastle College require a part-time Instructor to work Tuesdays and Thursdays.in the Adult ESOL department. You should be dedicated, enthusiastic and have a CELTA qualification.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
To instruct adult ESOL learners, using a variety of methods in workshop and digilab sessions
To work with the ESOL team to develop learners' English and support continuous improvement activities
To work with the ESOL team to develop resources for learners from Pre Entry level to Level 2
To contribute to strategies to improve student achievement, attendance and retention.
The candidate must hold a CELTA or other ESOL related teaching qualification.
An ability to self-manage workload, meet deadlines alongside strong oral and written communication skills and good IT skills are also essential. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a well-motivated, cohesive and successful team.
