We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our team within Vistry Works, at our Coalville factory. As our Assistant Management Accountant, you will support the Finance Manager in providing a comprehensive accounting service to the staff and management of the Timber Frame factory.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a proficient understanding of IT packages and software

More about the Assistant Management Accountant role…

  • Processing transactions for the Timber Frame factory and assisting with preparing management accounts with variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Preparation of monthly VAT and CIS returns.
  • Assist in the preparation of the weekly cashflow forecast.
  • Work with the factory team to analyse and understand stock variances and KPIs.
  • Assist the Finance Manager with the preparation of the monthly Business Review pack.
  • Assist in the Full-Year audit taking ownership of queries where necessary.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Ad-hoc project work to improve the Division’s current systems and processes.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.
  • You will continuously seek to find process efficiencies in the current financial control and reporting processes, streamlining, and improving our approach wherever possible.
