Overview

The Executive Support Officer plays a key role in providing high-quality, efficient and effective assistance to the Chief Executive Officer and Office Holders of the Law Society, as they work to support and promote solicitors.

The Executive Support Officer oversees the production of briefings. This includes drafting content and commissioning input from colleagues, to ensure briefings provide our CEO and Office Holders with the information they need to ensure a meeting or event is a success. As part of the Executive Office team, the role will work to co-ordinate meetings and correspondence. This is a varied, fast-paced role involving relationships with many internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.   

The role is vital in ensuring the success of our executive function and external-facing activities, enabling us to deliver maximum value for our members and the legal profession as a whole.

This role gives you the chance to work with contemporary and modern thinkers in the world of law and legal justice.

We’re looking for someone with experience in drafting written content for senior stakeholders. You will be highly organised and able to coordinate multiple work streams to ensure that work is delivered on time and to a high quality. You will work flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues to meet business needs. You will be comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders whilst also working well with a broad range of colleagues at all levels.  
 
You will have the organisational skills to co-ordinate and deliver the end-to-end briefings process, while also collaborating fully with colleagues in the wider administrative and business support work of the Executive Office.


Salary: ÂŁ32029 – ÂŁ38623 per annum + 3% flex fund after 3 months + bens.
