About The Opportunity:

We now have an exciting opportunity for a deputy quality assurance pharmacist to join our existing team. Reporting into the ODS operations team your overall responsibility will be overseeing and implementing the Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes as defined by the Lead QA pharmacist and superintendents team. 

 

Who We Want:

Our ideal candidate will be confident when dealing with patient and prescriber queries whilst, overseeing systems such as stock management and PMR testing. In the absence of the lead pharmacist, you will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of high quality assurance across both the DSP and MediPAC. Our model candidate must be able to provide a safe and efficient pharmaceutical service within the accepted legal and professional requirements using company policies and procedures and take accountability for all clinical, accuracy and GPhC standards. In addition to this, you must ensure full staff compliance with company SOPs, information governance and company policies and maintain overall high dispensary housekeeping standards within the site. The candidate must maintain the training and development off all staff and identify new opportunities to improve quality, speed and costs. Our ideal candidate must have a passion and motivation to undertake any other duties or projects that may arise with the nature and grade of this post.

 

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Good understanding of the Pharmacy Contract
  • Good understanding of Public Health & Wellbeing
  • Good understanding of the GPhC Standards
  • Qualified Pharmacist – Pharmacy Degree
  • Registered with the GPhC
  • Evidence of own professional development.

 

Working Patterns:

Usual working patterns are 9am to 5:30pm but flexibility is required. 

Total Hours: 40 hours per week. 

 

Salary/Hourly Rate:

An hourly rate of ÂŁ26.48 per hour resulting in a salary of ÂŁ55,078.40
