The Opportunity
EDF Wholesale Market Services (WMS) is a core business line within the EDF UK Customers Business that is at the centre of helping Britain achieve Net Zero. It provides industry leading wholesale market services to EDF’s supply and generation business units and to third party energy asset owners. The team operates in a broad and diverse range of market segments including residential & business supply, nuclear, renewable & thermal generation and storage & flexible energy.
We are looking for a talented Customer Success Lead to join the Flexibility Services team who are responsible for the operations, settlement, commercial oversight, product development and delivery of market leading route to market services to asset owners of flexible technologies (battery storage, gas peakers and DSR).

What you’ll be doing
As the Customer Success Lead you will take responsibility for the oversight and management of a programme of projects relating to the onboarding of new flexible assets (predominantly battery storage and gas peakers) into the portfolio. The projects will all be at different stages; therefore, you will be required to manage the individual projects effectively ensuring quality customer service.
You will be the key point of contact for customers whilst their assets are in the onboarding phase, ensuring they are kept up to date on progress towards the go-live. You will take responsibility in ensure all necessary onboarding activities are well understood and completed by the relevant parties, meaning project timelines are met.
Looking at opportunities to enhance onboarding activities, you will also be required to continually drive improvements in processes, efficiency, and customer experience.
Who you are
We are looking for somebody who has a very strong customer focus, good organisational skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
You will have a good understanding of the UK wholesale energy and flexible markets and experience in overseeing and managing multiple projects. We are looking for somebody who can prioritise workload, be confident in making challenging time dependent decisions and communicate complex information to the wider business and team members effectively.
