We are One EE: an integrated cross agency team working with our clients at BT Group with the shared ambition of being the most consumer focussed tech company in the UK. 

The team is comprised of experts across every point of the customer journey, assembled from the various agencies that sit under the Publicis umbrella – and mostly at our Chancery Lane office for maximum integration. The partnership we hold with our clients at EE BT goes back longer than you’d think, and we’re continually adding to our remit, bringing in new business and finding new ways to grow the relationship and the business.

The focus is on creating brilliant work – work that you want to point at and shout “I did that!” – while enjoying (and managing) the chaos. We like to think that you can see that from the work that we produce – and we produce a lot of it. From Kevin Bacon to  getting home safe or confronting online hate, we do it all. We’re not a quiet bunch – briefs and ideas move quickly here and the ability to pivot, dodge and quickly reset is essential. And the clients are in it with us, with a shared mantra of ‘hold the line’ – communicating honestly and openly is a requirement here.

BT Group is made up of several brands – we look after their biggest and brightest: EE & BT.

EE was born in 2012, and has built its brand on being the best – with 9 years of being RootMetric’s Best Network under its belt. We were the first to launch 4G and 5G, and offer both in more places and more reliably than any other network. Within 4 years of its birth the brand was officially recognised as a Superbrand by the Centre for Brand Analysis – an award that recognises quality, reliability and distinction as voted for by members of the UK public, and bought by BT Group for £12.5bn. 

It now has a retail presence of 560 stores, sells broadband, home security and gaming, and this week opens the doors on its Flagship store, EE Studio, in the Westfield, where it brings to life the multitude of ways that the network can help your everyday. 

BT is as British as fish and chips. Like the BBC, it’s hard to imagine the UK without it. Currently it’s the home of broadband, delivering superfast fibre, TV & mobile to the nation, with a wider goal of helping UK families, communities and companies reach their potential.

Job Description

Join our team at Publicis•Poke as we embark on an exciting journey to deliver extraordinary ideas and create unforgettable experiences in retail stores across the nation. We are seeking exceptional creative talent, a dynamic duo of conceptual thinkers and doers who possess a burning ambition to push boundaries and captivate audiences. This includes our brand new flagship experience store, The EE Studio, located in Westfields London, which opened its doors on 16th June 2023.

Reporting directly to the Creative Director, you will be at the forefront of transforming client briefs into original and attention-grabbing concepts that entice our target audience and drive footfall to our retail spaces. As a key player in our team, you will lead a range of projects across exciting verticals such as gaming, entertainment, home tech, device launches, and seasonal campaigns. While we thrive on delivering headline acts, we also value your ability to contribute as a team player, engaging in business as usual retail communications and offers.

To excel in this role, you must possess a diverse skill set that spans digital experiences, digital innovation, AR, POS, print, and content creation. Your craft and creative thinking should enable EE to play a meaningful role in shaping how we live, work, and play.


  • Killer Ideas: Generate groundbreaking concepts that others wish they had thought of. Create PR-worthy ideas that drive footfall to our stores, innovative social media hacks, influential content series, events, live broadcasts, connected products, services, and smart partnerships.

  • Selling Killer Ideas: Utilize your intelligence and persuasive skills to build compelling arguments and make prototypes. Effectively pitch and present your ideas, becoming an evangelist for their potential.

  • Making Ideas Happen: Collaborate with diverse teams of creative specialists, transforming ideas into flawlessly executed experiences that come alive.

  • Fresh Thinking and Innovation: Infuse Publicis•Poke with fresh thinking and innovative ideas. Actively share concepts that inspire, delight, and fill us with wonder.

  • Inspiring and Mentoring: Lead, manage, and mentor junior teams, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and unleash their full creative potential.
