This is an exciting opportunity for a Conference & Events Manager to join our team.  You will be responsible for the conference & events function. Leading, developing and motivating a high-performing team to deliver exceptional events is the core objective of this role. You will also build client relations, compliance H&S, finance, HR, sales and planning.

You will be supporting the head of sales in developing C&E business development strategy. The C&E Manager will be accountable to in ensuring all aspects of the event is delivered to the specific requirements, acting as the point of contact between the sales and operational teams for all C&B events.

As a hands-on C&E Manager you will ensure all events are delivered in line with time frames and agreed budgets. By working partnership with HR and Training team you ensure all C&E staff have the required skills to deliver outstanding service.  Lead the C&E team and make sure all the team members have clear direction

Building strong relationships and Liaising with the clients to understand event requirements and attend key client meetings making sure all teams are updated on a regular basis.

Design, develop and maintain operational standards to ensure consistency in service standards. Work with client and culinary teams to develop innovative strategies to attract and maintain new and existing clients.

We are looking to recruit an experienced C&E Manager within the hospitality sectors. You will have extensive experience in delivering a high level of customer service. Have previous experience in running large volume conference and events, budgeting, sales, planning and people management experience. As an effective communicator with the ability to build relationships with ease. As team player you are experienced in recognising and celebrating the contributions and achievements of others.
