The Role

This is an exciting maternity cover opportunity for an experienced brand and communications professional to shape how the Law Society is perceived.

You will lead and a coach a newly created team of ambitious and talented professionals to be overall brand guardians for the organisation. You will use your past experience to ensure a high-quality and tailored execution of the brand across all channels and touch points, working closely with colleagues from around the organisation.

In addition, you and your team will lead on the development of compelling membership and corporate messages that brings our vision, purpose and value proposition to life.

Maternity cover until October 2025.

You will need to demonstrate prior experience of producing effective brand strategies and plans that are aligned with wider business goals. You will be results-driven and be able to demonstrate the impact of your past work.

Strong people management skills and the ability to thrive in a changing and fast-paced environment are essential for this role. You will need to demonstrate excellent written, verbal and creative skills, and creatively bring a corporate brand for a professional audience to life.

You’ll need to translate your solid understanding of best practice to drive forward innovation. This includes a mix of coaching your team and delivering work yourself.

As a person, you’ll be highly collaborative with the ability to work with colleagues at all levels across the organisation. You’ll be self-motivated, proactive and positive, and be able to inspire the same in your team.

Salary: £53992 – £55000 per annum + 3% flex fund after 3 months
