At Skipton Building Society we can consider hybrid working options including flexible and remote working. Given the requirements of the role the will successful applicant would need to be based at our Head Office in Skipton 2-3 days per week / as work required.

We are recruiting Enterprise Agile Coaches to help drive our Agile transformation journey. You will be joining the Agile COE as part of the Change team, who sit within Technology & Transformation at the heart of Skipton’s ambitious and exciting change agenda.   We have a large Change team of c.100 people, consisting of business analysts, project managers, scrum masters and delivery leads.

What Will You Be Doing?

As we continue to support the organisation in taking steps to move toward a scaled agile model, 2024 has seen us accelerate our agile maturity to strengthen our ability to connect strategy to execution. As one of our Agile Coaches, you will be supporting us on our agile transformation journey by providing both Enterprise-Level and Team-Level support to colleagues at all levels of the organisation. You will support our colleagues through applying the most appropriate intervention in line with the industry-wide recognised ‘Agile Coaching Growth Wheel’.

What Do We Need From You?

  • You will have experience of Enterprise-Wide Business Agility
  • You will have evidence of supporting C-suite level colleagues through targeting agile interventions
  • You will have evidence of applying a number of different interventions to solve complex business problems
  • You will have knowledge and skills in Lean Portfolio Management
  • You will have skills in scaled agile (SAFe expertise is desirable), with a proven track record of Programme Increment (PI) Planning or equivalent value-stream level planning
  • You will be a self-motivated, enthusiastic and experienced agile coach who has worked in a number of organisations coaching and embedding agile
  • You will be very familiar with several agile frameworks and these frameworks and techniques to life through real world experiences and examples
  • You will be skilled in support teams in achieving high-performance, advocating for customer and driving the delivery of value
  • You will be a strong communicator who can operate effectively across all organisational levels
  • You will possess the ability to articulate agility in away that is easy for others to understand
  • Hybrid working is fine but you MUST be able to commit to being onsite in Skipton a minimum of twice a week, potentially more.
