You will be joining an organisation that has treated 500,000 patients to date and is opening a new shared service in Poland to support our global operations.

We're seeking an Accountant to join our expanding team, dedicated to overseeing accounting procedures and support with payroll. This role can be based in Warsaw or remote anywhere in Poland.


The Role

  • Reconciling Accounts: Ensure accuracy by matching entries with statements, invoices, and receipts, and rectifying discrepancies.

  • Researching and Correcting Booking Errors: Spot and fix transaction errors, and collaborate for swift resolution and accurate records.

  • Preparing Financial Reporting/Statements: Create meticulous reports in line with UK GAAP, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

  • Supporting UK Team with Payroll: Navigate complexities, optimise processes, and provide expertise.

  • Resolving Payroll Queries: Address inquiries promptly, and offer expert assistance.

  • Ad-hoc Finance Projects: Contribute expertise to various projects.

  • Maintaining Internal Control Systems: Establish reliable, compliant processes.

  • Coordinating with Tax Advisors and Auditors: Collaborate for accurate financial information during audits.

About You:

  • Experience in accounting principles and financial processes.

  • Understanding of payroll procedures.

  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute hands-on.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.

  • Proactive approach to learning and development.

  • Exceptional organisational abilities and time management skills.

  • Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and knowledge of relevant regulations.
