Glanmore Foods supply Award Winning healthy food to over 450 schools or 50,000 meals daily! All produced and manufactured in our state of the art, custom built, food manufacturing plant. 
We are recruiting for a National Account Manager on a full time (40 hours), permanent contract to join our team in the Dublin 15 area! 
As a National Accounts Manager, you would be responsible for the full Primary School and Logistics Operation, ensuring the service delivered is exceptional at each stage of the process.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities include:
  • Lead a team of 7+ Area Managers and drive the strategy of growth and retention of the existing business through leading the development of long-term business plans.
  • Close and detailed liaison with our clients, key stakeholders & the wider Glanmore team to plan and achieve targeted growth within parameters of strategy.
  • Ensure excellent customer service at all times, with contingency plans in place to ensure zero service delivery failures.
  • Build lasting relationships with schools and become an integral part of the school community.
  • Support the Green Flag initiative of the schools and drive sustainable food and service activities Establish the smooth mobilisation of new business through resource planning, training and compliance. 
  • Ensure that all activities have a clear purpose and measurable outcomes deliver innovative solutions.
  • Ensure the Labour Model in each school is meeting the standards of the service required.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as key school personnel & suppliers.
  • Support development of bids and proposals and sign off final agreements to ensure we deliver sound contracts.
  • Ensure compliance to company policies.
  • Build & maintain strong relationships with internal, cross function stakeholders (culinary, marketing, people etc.) to develop and monitor delivery of services.
  • Develop the team and ensure succession plan for key roles within the business.
  • Manage the Logistics Operation of the business ensuring it operating in line with agreed budget and expected standards.
  • Ensure fresh product deliveries are made across the country overnight and contingency plans are in place so there are zero service failures.
  • Regularly review routes to maximise operational efficiency.
  • Define and rework routes as new business develops.
About You 
Candidates must: 
  • Have a minimum of 8 years of Senior management experience leading and inspiring Area/Sales teams to deliver results.
  • Sound financial acumen
  • Exemplary track record of leadership, strategic thinking, advocacy, critical analysis and decision making.
  • Strong knowledge and awareness of industry & food trends, locally, nationally and internationally. 
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with proven ability to break down complex issues, articulate them clearly to senior stakeholders and work collaboratively to create a focused action plan.
  • Track record of positive client relationships
  • Be passionate and focussed on excellent customer service with experience of delivering on promises
  • Be agile with the ability to respond to business needs.
  • Sound relevant HSE knowledge.
  • Professional, confident, and enthusiastic team player with a flexible, can-do attitude.
  • Exudes confidence, energy and agility.
  • Full driver’s license
